I'm from Australia. Have purchased 6 weeks ago a 1975 Ducati 860GT. Has come to from the USA via Brisbane. Slowly getting it ready for rego. Having Govt red tape issue's. As the bike is stamped with the year of import to the USA 1977 not the manufacture date 1975. The Victorian Vic road tell me it has to comply with 1977 rules, kph speedo etc. Have to get a VASS (eng cert) cert before rego is allowed.
I'm quite suprised at how ready available parts are (some at some cost!)
Use to own a Darmah in my 20's for 7years and loved it, so had to buy another 20years on.
