Fresh Oregon duc

Post by Keith G »

Despite falling for Ducatis in the early eighties, I've been more or less exclusively on Bmrs until now, when, just in time for my mid life crisis, a worked over 860gt showed up on my doorstep. I poured the water out of the carbs and fired 'er up. Sounds like heaven, but I'm going to need a little boost to get on the road, thanks for being here!
I'm 9 blocks due north of Cheshire.

Is this a local bike? I seem to recall Daric having a GT in his showroom. You should bring it out to PIR on Sunday the 16th for the Ducati Northwest gathering. I hope to have my 82 SS in the Ducati Pacifica booth.

It's been in town a year, getting rusty in my friend's backyard.San Francisco before that. It sports an unforgettable fuschia, lime green, orange and silver paint scheme with eagles gripping the checkered flag or either side of the tank, and flames. Unfortunately, the only way it'll get to PIR is in the back of my truck:

I figure I at least have to dig into the clutch...
