wtb- 860GTS or 900GTS tank (in Australia please)

Post by Aussiess »

Anyone in OZ got an 860 GTS or 900 GTS petrol tank (hopefully without rust /leaks) that they may want to part with at a reasonable cost? Appreciate any response.

Thanks Steve,(still havent seen shocks by the way)
Yeah I thought Frank may be an option, have picked up a few GT bits recently but the tank is just more of a cosmetic improvement really, the tank on it is in great nick and I have a spare standard tank as well, but just love the lines of the GTS tank.
I am happy as with the GT, I rode it for the first time the other day and I was rapt, what a lovely easy to ride old thing, I also like the classic shape. It wont be going anywhere thats for sure, Its a great change of pace from the others,
It will be on club reg next week so I can officially scoot around on it.

Still would like to find a GTS tank though........anyone??

Thanks Dave...... and Steve, nice bike, what a tragic time the 70's were eh! Age has been kind to us all! Ha!
I will continue my search, fibreglass replacement is an option.

I live in Perth and have a GTS tank that I'd be prepared to part with for the right coin. Why don't you PM me and exchange numbers. If you make me a reasonable offer, I'll let it go.

Cheers,

Not sure but this guy might be able to help you out. Seems to have a fair bit of old Duc stuff laying around. Think he`s in Canberra
