Hello boys and girls, :-D
I am born in 52, I live near St Malo.
After 30 years as a merchant marine engineer, I am retired
My first motorcycle was a 250 desmo in 1972
Then came a XT 500, a 900 SS beveldrive, a 600 pantah, a belt 900 SS, and many bikes (450 honda, etc..)
To day I am busy finishing a 500 papallel GTV and making a web site;
paralleltwins.com (sorry french language)
I have been many times in USA (New York, Frisco, New Orleans)
What keeps me alive: Ducati mechanics....

Bienvenue! J'ai toujours une XT500, une moto que j'aime beaucoup, surtout pour les sentiers pres d'ici. J'ai fait plusiers visites en France et j'espere retourner bientot.

Comme vous sans doute savez, il y a une fort lien entre St. Malo et Canada.

Bonjour Gerald et bienvenu,

Moi, je suis anglais mais j'habite Montpellier depuis 6 mois. Mes motos - une SSD, une 450 SCR et une 350 Vento; et deux laverdas, une RGS Corsa et une Zané 750 Formula. Malheureusement, elles restent toujours en Angleterre pendant que je cherche une garage ici! :-(

Une petite question, svp; est-ce que vous êtes adhérent à un club pour les Ducatis? Je suis déjà adéherent du Laverda Club de France, mais pas pour les Ducatis, surtout pour les plus anciennes :-)

Welcome! I still have an XT500, a motorbike which I greatly enjoy, especially on the trails around here. I have often been to France and I hope to return soon.

As you no doubt know, there is a strong connection between St. Malo and Canada.

* historical note: fishermen, explorers and colonists used St. Malo as a starting point on voyages to Canada.

I have to say Peter that your first post was all dutch to me!

Moi aussi, j'etais ne l'annee'52. Je viens de Quebec, et maintenant j'habite en Ontario (CANADA) I just joined up on here this morning. Je pense que j'aurais beacoup besoin d'information ici, parce-que j'ai trouve une 250 de 1966 sur E-Bay ....le mois de mars passe.
