REWARD...PLEASE HELP

Post by cafe*racer »

I am offering $US$ to anyone who will take the time to trace a pattern and take a couple pictures of the rear caliper hanger for 230 mm rear disk as used on 750/900 SS models with Brembo F08 caliper. I am capable of fabricating this part and have spent alot of time already in mocking up a working pattern from pictures. However, I would like to be as close to the original as possible and for that I will at least need an outline tracing of an original exemplar. This is one of the last bits needed to complete my rear disk conversion, PLEASE HELP Please e-mail me direct WRITERPLAY@HOTMAIL.COM if you can help. Jordan

Actually I meant 229mm, as listed in the 750/900SS Spare Parts Catalogue 1975-76. Part number is 0797-80-053, there is a nice diagram that I took a picture of and put up in a previous post. It is also pictured on pages 64 & 71 of the Original Ducati Sport & Super Sport by Ian Falloon (the one with the black cover). So it is pretty much the same as the hanger for the larger disc except it is aprox. 25mm shorter. I know repro. is available from Old Racing Spares in italy for alot of money but I would rather find a real one or make my own. Was hoping to entice some folks to go digging through their extra 'junk'.
