Did VeeTwo recreate the engine, or are those of Ioannoni ? He has been building them for years.
Seeing the tacho going more than once over the 10K, I suspect there is a plainbearing crank in it.

Re: Vee Two Hailwood Replica
The engines that were used in the endurance-racers weren't entirely build by Ducati but by NCR.
They got unofficial help from factory-employees and engineers, but because they were a governement-steered factory, they weren't allowed to spend money on such capitalist things as racing.
Hence NCR-Ducati.
There (according to Giorgio) was only a limited run of NCR-cases made and developed and as far as I know, Ioannoni came closest to reproducing them.
It seems only logical that with strengthening and modern materials and machining, VeeTwo get a lot of rpm and power out of the engine.

Brook Henry bought the molds for this engine from Guiseppi Ioanoni . Kent Jörnevall was the middleman in this deal
in my humble opinion he is taking a lot of credit for work he did not do .
never the less a nice bike tho .
