simple carb question

on the 74 750 GT when adjusting the fuel air screw is tightening it, more air or more fuel?
The screw is on the engine side of the carb so it adjusts gas....
In is less, out is more
The right setting is when you get the highest idle adjusting them assuming you already have done other steps in the sync process. Repeat on the other carb, now adjust idle screws and finish your sync process.
