can anybody describe either with a parts catalogue listing or photos, how the complete single seat is mounted ?
was a mudguard separate from the visible seat form deployed ?
I do not have an original and the only replica i have found is supplied without any form of attachment/support.

Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy

there is a subframe onder the seat . op front the subframe has 2 pieces of tubing that slides over 2 pins right behind the tank .

at the rear the subframe is mounted behind the shocks to the framerails
together with the rearfender

for a picture look at oldracingspareparts.com

ok so that's the seat attachment sorted that still leaves the mudguard question.
Looking at web photos it seems that there is actually a mudguard mounting at the battery carrier on the yellow desmos and probably only half or 3/4 length - is that the case ?

Attached is a found pic which seems to show a hint of rear mudguard.
also attached is what I have. This looks to be an original (blue) guard that has been cut down by a previous owner. Is that more or less what was fitted originally ?

Was the original Stainless or chromed ?

Hi JAR can't open your photo files can you send to me? My seat is at the upholsters and won't be back for a few weeks. Re guard query, it was 3/4 black will take some photos to show you. Regards Al

Al now you should be able to see them, as you can see someone has had a go at creating a 3/4 guard
