hello

I' m a 43 years old bevel owner. my name is Jean-christophe ,and I 'm glad to be here ,as long as I can understand everything's written here !!

I live in France,in the suburbs of Paris ,I 'm really addicted to Ducati's bikes
I own a 900 supersport of 90's with 39 Keihin ,and french EMC's suspension .
I also ride a 900 SSIE ,for track only (still working on IT,the fairing is in my livin room.......and of course ,the reason why I' m here ,mainly, is my 860 GT ,that I' m trying to build right now . to be honest ,I was born with two left hands ,and It's a real challenge for me to construct à bevel ...

I bought and ride one 860 GT ,fifteen years ago ,and unfortunately had to sell it . I love this engine ,and the indescriptible music of the conti's .....

^>^

also Im' here to improve my english ,and to have the knowledge of technicals terms.

I wish to build a cafe racer , because the seller already did cut the frame
at the back of the bike , I own a fiber tank fuel ,with gas level ,very nice look ,and I wish to have the shift gear (? ) at the right side ,and the brake at the left side .......I own conti's ,I don't have any speedo ,because Smith's are really out of price ,I 'm waiting for veglias from a friend .

here's a picture of my bike ,the day I bought IT :

I'm trying to buil a real clean bike ,but I wish to ride with It ,like before ,where I use to go to work with It !!

the frame ,setted for the seat :

the general style :

the engine has been rebuild by a french specialist ,with parts directly from Italia : high flow level oil pump , new valves and so on......

see you !!

;)

Salut Jean-christophe,

Language shouldn't be a problem as there are several french/english speakers on the forum.
