Carbs and Jets 250 single

I want to put a bigger carb on my 250 singel and I'm looking at the one that come off the 750 GT (delorto) I was wondering of any of you might have a good starting point for the jets for one of these carbs in this situation.. 250gt no head work pretty stock.. over size piston and compression.

there is one thing , the needle jet they say should be 265 .
it should be 265 AB
