Has anyone fitted Gowanloch spoke wheels to a Darmah, is it straight swap, and are they pretty (pics please).

Sorry for the daly in responding to this, I hope I'm not too late for you.

Gowanloch spoked rims are made by Morad who are the successors to Akront. They are a good looking wheel and can be polished up very nicely due to them being quite a dense alloy.

I would say they are a good looking product although I'm very partial to spoked rims!

From memory, they are cast from the early Boranni rims which had the angled valance shoulder.

Thanks C. believe it or not I have only just started the Sd900 resurrection. I figure with the current exchange rates these wheels are a good deal, so I reckon there'll be a set in the post for my birthday.
