cush drive

i have recently replaced cush rubber,sprocket carrier and have only done around 500k`s and there is play back in it again.chain and sprockets are new as are all rear wheel bearings.if i remove the spacer from between carrier and wheel its nice and snug again. cush drive carrier worn?

Did you check the tension on the bolts that hold the sprocket to the cush drive, on mine the bolts worked loose elongated the holes allowing the bolts to wobble enough to work loose sufficiently to snap the bolts

sprocket is tight on carrier,and cush carrier is tight on wheel

Pull the cush drive apart a give both housings a smear of silicone and re-assemble. Do it on hydraulic pump drive couplings and the likes all the time and they last indefintely, because there is no movement they don't wear out.
