Question of frame material on older Bev Drv. Ducs came up on the DucatiMonsterForum.

All my old friends and I always thought the frames on the older Ducs were 4130. Is this correct and if not what is the type of steel used. My friends is a 74-Green Frame 750 and mine is a 80-900ss.

Thanks,
LA
