Shipping a Jupiter

Hello all:

I am looking for a Jupiter and trying to figure what shipping would cost me if I find one that is not local. Does anyone have the dimensions of a Jupiter - length/width/height/weight ?

Has anyone used Forward Air to ship one and what size bike container did you use?

http://www.forwardair.com/prepaid/MCmainpage.jsp

Thanks in advance.

Hi teckhardt,

Never underestimate the power of BevelHeaven! It's all there, you know! :)

Go Manuals Index, then 450 Desmo Workshop Manual (yeh, confusing, I know: it's not named correctly ...) and then scroll thru to pages 38 & 39.

Or:

Length: 2120mm
Width: 940mm
Height: 1150mm
Weight: 133kg.

Best go check, tho'!

Ciao

Craig

Well, Bevel Heaven has that deal with a shipper if you look at the main page. And I recently used Taylor Welty (google him for contact info and prices) to have my Monza 250 shipped from Wisonconsin to LA for a fair price, no crate needed, he just strapped it within his big enclosed trailer.

Thanks I will look at both of those options.
