I have some good used KLG plug caps you know the once that everyone is after, minor splitting around the end of the rubber but you don't see this at all once there one
been meaning to put them on ebay only because of its large user base
what are they worth?
The inners have been modified at some stage but one is like they are supposed to be not that it really matters and they do have clamps
You tell me what are they worth?
Or what about some Verlicchi 38mm clip ons in very good condition what are these worth

Its worth what someone is willing to pay. If you want top dollar put them on eBay, I might even bid on them. I have one already and need another. Too bad Damien at bevelrubber has not repro'd these yet. KLG 'type' caps are available with clamps very cheap. The clamps are ok but the caps are dissapointing even for the price.
I believe the Verlicchi's are being reproduced as well and can be had for $50-$80 USD, seen on eBay. Not sure of the quality though. Would think originals could bring $100+ depending on condition.
Get ahold of me direct and I will make you an offer on the caps.
Thanks, Jordan

Tell you what, anyone that can come up with these items for me can have the LKG plug caps
I need the standard engine breather hose for either an SD or SSD , I believe they could be the same part and it must have, Gran Tourismo, made in Italy by G.Narva written in white on the hose
also need the 4 standard air box hose clamps
Still looking for the Brake lines -with brembo collars 11/79 I only need the white collars I dont care what they came off as long it has those dates somewhere between 05/79 to 11/79
not a big ask for these parts, for plug caps that you can not get
there must be someone out there that has these parts if you dont want to trade ,I will buy if that suits you better

Whats the big deal with these caps? I still have the two I took off my bike. I replaced them because they were about the worst plug caps I have ever seen. Good thing I didn't throw them away.
Can the quest for originality go too far?

Hey Bruce
If yours are like the ones in the pictures above , on Fleebay you will get at least US$100+ for them , and NOS well over 200, WHY you ask ? its a little like "Jod and 4777 rims" same goes for these caps, for someone doing a restore this is what they look for , I agree with you in that they are useless to use, if you seal them with silicone they work just as well
Defiantly don't through them out , I have 2 used sets and 2 NOS that I'm using in my resto's

Of course I didn't pay anything near that price. It's crazy, the buyers on ebay have the same access to these parts as everyone else...the rich must really be lazy after all!
Martin, I'm not saying but the ones I got came from your backyard, enough of a clue

They looked high and low and I waited a long time after sending money, so I think I got the last set available.

LOL never say you got the last set, there is always someone somewhere just waiting to sell,
I agree with you in finding sites can be extremely time consuming and sometimes its in the way you sell or miss-spell a word and you find a new site like I did a little while ago with lots of NOS parts on offer
If you want something bad enough and take the time to look you will find what your after.
Fleebay is just more convenient for a lot of buyers and most don't even know where to begin to look for themselves.
There are many hidden caves still out there to be discovered

I've come across a few lately! Don't get too excited, 8 of them are taken (4 by me!!) but there are a few spare. They are not mine, but from an old school ducatisti. If you're inerested, PM me. They'll be on eBay over the next wee while otherwise. They are all basically used but pristine. No cracks or anything.
