Hi a bit about me,live in Blacksmiths (Newcastle),NSW Australia.Currently own a 1975 750SS,1978 SD Darmah,1984 MHR,Paul Smart Replica and the best toy of all a Hypermotard S.one best things put on this earth.At present 750 SS is currently undergoing a full restoration.Also just to keep busy I m 2/3 s thru building a 38.5 foot C/R yacht which I hope to launch some time mid 2009, the boat is built using strip plank Cedar (Canadian Western Red) covererd with fibreglass inside and out.

Welcome to the Forum! Have you started the glassing of your boat yet? I am curious about the choice of fiberglass as opposed to carbon fiber and epoxy. I have been using epoxy system to rebuild vintage wood Chris Crafts with very good results. Jordan
