Hey guys. I have an 84 Pantah 600 with gearbox problems. Most of the time it will not change from first to second - it just goes into neutral. When it does occasionally go into second (after much cursing and gnashing of teeth - mine!) its up through the gears as smooth as silk. Quite often it wont go into first either. I've had the bike looked at twice by a local Duc specialist and still the problem persists.
Any ideas as I'm sick of spending money on the same problem that hasn't been fixed!

Hallo,take off the left carter,look to gearshift mechanism.
I think there is the problem,if you know how it's work, you can chance it.
If not ,buy an workshop manual!
