Hi everybody, I put the clutch (Surflex, for my Darmah) following the instructions of hire:
http://www.bevelheaven.com/~BB/phpBB2/v ... c.php?t=92, but the lever-clutch is too hard. I pressed the six screws of the springs until the end. Is it correct? Or do you think that I have to slacken it

Hi Gonzalo, those screws must be tight or they will loosen up which is not a good thing.. Some things to check, make sure the clutch lever is properly adjusted and lubricated. Also it is very important to make sure the clutch cable is cleaned, lubricated and routed so all bends are as easy as possible, don;t tie it off anywhere... Lastly, the clutch actuater rods all need to be clean and lubricated, and the clutch adjusted so the actuating arm sits 1 mm from hitting the case cover so when you pull the clutch in you get the maximum throw. If it is still too hard, then take out half the springs and replace with your old springs, the try again.
