I've had my Darmah for just over a year now and in that time have covered about 1000 miles or so.
A few weeks ago the familiar coffee grinder sound on start up indicated that all was not well in the sprag department.
Being short on time and wanting the bike back on the road as soon as poss I booked it in with a bevel specialist in my area.
Imagine my surprise/ horror when on collection of the bike I was presented with this 6mm allen bolt:

This had been lying in the bottom of the casing up against the clutch basket. How long it had been in there for who knows. By the look of it it had at some point in time been playing pinball in side the engine - imagine the consequences if it had lodged somewhere!!!
So I guess in my case the need to replace the sprag was a blessing in disguise !!!!
Cheers
