I have a widecase single.

When the engine is running, oil is spraying out of the right side tube through which the clutch activation rod passes, and into the case behind the gear selection box on the right..

Yet the giant breather hose seems to be free (blow and suck okay).

What gives?

Gotta be a breather obstruction surely.I`m not familiar with the singles but if oil is pushing out of tubes and the like the crankcase is pressurising and it can only do that if it`s not venting to atmosphere.

Is there much air coming out of the breather hose with the engine running?

Engine not overfull of oil?

I havent had anything to do with these engines, is there a seal where the oil coming from or an unsealed shaft? if it has a seal would say the seal is ruined.
