What can be done about damaged thread to the exhaust port where the flange nut screws into ?

It pretty far gone and I'm quite pissed that it was not picked up during the engine rebuild

As far as I know the SSD head is the same as a SS head where the valves and ports are larger is this correct ?

or can I get away with a SD or GTS head and fit the larger valves etc.?
Ideas anyone ?
