Have a '72 750 GT with close to 100K miles on it, that I would like to have the motor rebuilt - motor was last run 12 to 15 years back, but ran then and I still spin it over regularly (not frozen).

Wanted to do this myself, but am far too busy - any recommendations for a good shop that could handle the motor rebuild (I guessing total top end with valves/seats and probably replace bearings and seals also).

I am in the Grand Junction area.

Thanks! Ron

hi Ron, You have several options albeit none in your neighborhood I am aware of. I would plan on puloling the engine and bolting it onto a pallet and shipping it to any number of guys who are top notch. Please call me Monday to discuss and depending on what you say I will give you a recomendation or 3.

Thanks Steve - been really busy and just checked this site. I talked with Rich at Motofinesse last week and I going to have him redo it after he returns from Italy in June.

I was impressed in talking with Rich - the guys literally knows Ducatis inside and out.
