I have been riding a kick start bevel for years and i am now over 60 and i've been looking to buy a starter motor to convert to electric start.after years of looking i have had one made. the starter is a geared head and starts the bike well even with the 6ah battery that i had been useing before.i hade the clutch cover and parts to fit it. At a bike rally i was asked to make one for a ssd owner and for good luck i made 2 so i have 1 left.its for sale and the workshop has the cnc program saved to make more.

Sorry, but I don't understand exactly what it is that you have had made. Is it an entirely new starter motor, complete with windings, magnets, commutator, casings etc? Or have you modified an existing one?

Do you have any pictures, please?

It is a complete Mitsubishi style starter motor. Modified front housing and shaft to fit straight onto the same mounting point as the old starter motor. Hope this link works for the photos.
