In 1981 only 683 Darmahs were produced with only 40 coming into the USA. This is one of those 40.

This is a 1981 model SD900 Darmah with 5937 original miles, 99% all original including the black and gold paint, Marzocchi shocks & factory air boxes. The only things NOT original are the BUB mufflers and tires. This is a 1981 model with 12/80 as a build date stamped on the headstock, engine #905611 & frame #951960. The bike was last registered in 1994 at which time the previous owner drained the fuel, prepared it for storage and moved it into his personal collection. It sat in his garage in Southern California until I purchased it along with several other of his bikes a few years ago when he lost interest in his Ducati collection.

This Darmah starts right up with no worries. It runs and idles well. It stops quickly and easily. It is in very good condition both cosmetically and mechanically. It is good to go, ready to ride. This has all the good stuff; factory air boxes & side stand, Marzocchi piggyback shocks, Marzocchi 38mm forks, 2-piece drilled 6-bolt cast iron Brembo rotors, Brembo F08 calipers, FPS wheels, CEV indicators, BOSCH H4 headlamp, factory steering damper etc etc. I have the original ignition and tail compartment keys.

The California registration is current and the title in my name so there will be no surprises at the DMV when you transfer title and register it once you buy it.

What I have done to this bike mechanically [this week]:

*Rebuilt carbs - new seals, float needle valves, accelerator pumps, metal banjos & fuel screens installed
*New battery & battery strap installed
*New Cavis Benz fuel line & 5mm wide hose clamps
*New Paioli fuel taps
*New intake manifold insulators
*Sync'd carbs and got her running right
*All cables checked & lubed
*Brakes checked, only needed fluid change - both front and rear.
*Installed new countershaft sprocket seal
*Removed, cleaned & lubed clutch actuator rods & cable etc
*Clean, lube & adjust all levers and controls
*Clean, adjust & lube drive chain

IT'S A BEAUTY
