Out of curiosity, is the kickstart lever correct? I thought the SS levers were not straight.

The 75 SS had a straight kick start . Not a great design either.

It didn't take long, did it!?
I'll have to part company with my '75 900SS soon, but I'm trying to delay as long as I can!

Shame you are selling it, I've just finished my resto and have been roaring around the roads of Poland today, it's been a lovely sunny day, probably the last warm one this year. Are you sure yours has to go, have you tried flogging off the wife, kids, parents? I know I would.
More seriously I've been struggling to put a value on mine for insurance, there aren't many transactions and those that there are are have been all in Aus. I wonder if you have had some thoughts about pricing yours in the U.K ? My resto cost was about 15000 GBP, but that doesn't include the bike to start off with, which was very original and all there, if a bit battered, or my labour (not very original, and definitely not all there!).
I would imagine 'real' unmolested '75's are quite rare, there's about 70 on the register so I doubt that there's more than about half the original 246 left as going concerns, although it would be interesting to hear any information or opinions on the subject.
