It was up to $6800 I think...then he pulled it. I wonder what he was offered. I understand these are very valuable, but I really didnt see $7k in that bike. It was crashed and very very rusty. Not to mention it hasnt run in over 25 years.

I've seen ones listed as high as $35,000. A guy in Elora Ontario had two, one with about 5 miles on it. Everything was completely original. So 10K for a project could be realistic. A 750 GT barn find just sold for $7500 on ebay. It looked alot worse than the 900ss.

I've got a friend with a 900SS that has 200mi. on it.Can't imagine what that would bring.
