OK, call me niave, but I may have to sell my 76 860GT, and I just dont really know what its worth. I do not want to give it away, but I dont want to rip anyone off either. I have NOT advertised it anywhere else, thought I'd get feedback from other Ducatisti first.
Please dont insult me, I am just looking for an honest response:
I will supply detail to any interested person. I have looked after and cleaned this bike, it rides beautifully but other things require me to sell.
It is on club rego in NSW OZ, so would be unregistered sale.

I believe and correct me if Im wrong that a totally restored to concourse GTE recently sold to an overseas buyer for aus 20k . This may be the exception but hope it gives you some idea of value.

I guess it comes down to "what the buyers are prepared to pay" but I am really not into this taking people for what I can (I may not get rich but I can sleep at night). I have had an offer at $8k and am considering it reasonable.
In a few years I may regret this I know but there will be another bike coming along to replace it sooner or later.

Its still for sale owing to a QLD govt quirk in Drivers licenses that means the mature age gent needs to hold a learners /provisional permit for 12 months and ride a 250cc motorcycle. He thought he could just get his license!
So, $8000 is the price as is, will see what happens or will use "fleabay".
I'd rather a ducatisti from here get it.

I accepted $8k to a Ducatisti. (maybe could have got more but happy anyway).
