1974 750 Sport
Posted: Sun Aug 10, 2008 6:51 pm
Build date: 2/74
ID No.: 754471
Mileage: 36044
This has been sitting in my shop for 8 years and was last insured in 2000. I picked it up with good intentions to re-build, however that has passed.
The engine had locked up (and is still locked) causing a low side on the highway. The levers and perches were broken off, one pipe scratched and the right side of the tank stove in. Headlight bezel and spokes are rusted, the Boranni rims have a few marks from previous tire changes, everyhting else is dusty. Other than that, the frame appears straight and those beautiful engine cases unmarked. It comes with a Ducati Edizione 1974 Catalogo Ricambi, a 1977 Haynes manual, and a Britalia Motors Parts and Accessories manual. Additionally and clean proof of registration. All the original major pieces are there, only the paint was unoriginal.
It is located in Prince Rupert, BC. Where is that? Try 1000 miles north of Vancouver by road or try looking here : http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&lat=54.313 ... rt%2C%20bc
Pics available. PM me.
Chances are, if you are south of the border it is too far away. But if you're really hungry for the bike, I could palletize it.
The big question is ..... what's it worth? Any help with pricing would be appreciated.
