I have decided to sell my bike. It is a 1974 750GT with 15k on the odometer.

The Good

Conti's
36 mm DelOrtos - non pumpers with velocity stacks and K&N filters
Lucas Electronic ignition
750 Sport intake manifolds matched to the carbs
750 Sport rearsets
750 Sport pistons one size over
K&N Superbike bars
Hella headlight
Braided stainless brake line

The Bad

Its been in the garage off the road since 1990
The chrome is weak, especially the headlight
The tires have some cracks
Needs a new tail light unless you like the duct tape look!
No battery
Needs the brakes rebuilt. The seals are swollen from Dot 5 fluid.
The tank decals should be replaced. The owner before me bondoed over the mounting holes for the metal badges on the tank and sidecover.

I used to ride it from 1982-1990. It always started first kick. It ended up in the garage after the kids were born. I have always wanted to get it out again, but it doesn't look like that will happen. I would rather someone has it who will ride it.

I have a few spare gaskets, etc. Also a repair manual and parts manual. I have the receipts for everything I put into it. I will be happy to answer any questions

$8500.00 Price edited after talking to someone who knows better.

Can you please email me photos to btlofrum @ yahoo.com? I have a friend who might be interested. He's south of Albany, and might not be up for the 5 hour drive sight unseen.

Thanks.

Ben

Stored due to onset of ankle-biters in 1990 - - - which means the ankle-biters are approaching 18. Keep the bike, throw in a year or two for restoration, and you're good to go!
