Nice bike, but is it a bit of this and that ?????, I would prefer an original one. I have just started looking and although owned 3 Ducati's and now 48, im just starting to learn about them. I collect Kawasaki Z1's and Triples. Im a cach buyer and will try to post a pic of my 900ss 1975 that I had when I was 16. I have decided the 750S is me, love that orange naked look. Thanks Gum

Yeah, not sure how original that one is. When your paying that sort of loot you want the real deal. Keep an eye on the US Ebay, there`s been a few 750 Sports come up on there lately. There`s another guy over there who seems to get quite a few classic Duc`s and he`s that Micheals motorcycles fella. He`s the guy on Ebay with the 1975 750SS for sale. He seems to pop up on there quite regular with nice bevels so he`s got a supply coming from somewhere. You can contact him on Sales@MichaelsMotorcycles.com

Good luck

Damaged 750 s in Canada

Post by Gum »

This guy doesn't seem to be around much or answer emails ???

Build date: 2/74
ID No.: 754471
Mileage: 36044

This has been sitting in my shop for 8 years and was last insured in 2000. I picked it up with good intentions to re-build, however that has passed.

The engine had locked up (and is still locked) causing a low side on the highway. The levers and perches were broken off, one pipe scratched and the right side of the tank stove in. Headlight bezel and spokes are rusted, the Boranni rims have a few marks from previous tire changes, everyhting else is dusty. Other than that, the frame appears straight and those beautiful engine cases unmarked. It comes with a Ducati Edizione 1974 Catalogo Ricambi, a 1977 Haynes manual, and a Britalia Motors Parts and Accessories manual. Additionally and clean proof of registration. All the original major pieces are there, only the paint was unoriginal.

It is located in Prince Rupert, BC. Where is that? Try 1000 miles north of Vancouver by road or try looking here : http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&lat=54.313 ... rt%2C%20bc

Pics available. PM me.

Chances are, if you are south of the border it is too far away. But if you're really hungry for the bike, I could palletize it.

The big question is ..... what's it worth? Any help with pricing would be appreciated.
