WTB- 74 GT 750 Matching Brake,Clutch Mounts, levers, mirrors

Post by Bern »

A lady backed into my parked Ducati knocking it over. Broke the clutch lever and bent the mount. Tommasselli bars are bent too and probably have some gouging as the lever assembly pushed up the handle bar. But I think I can get them straightened and re-chromed.

Mirror is toast too, I am looking for a matching set, right and left.

Luckily the Conti's weren't touched. The rearset footrest and the handlebar took the hit. I though the forks might have been twisted or a rotor damaged since there was a scraping from the front brakes, ended up being a pin on the brake pad had been knocked loose.

Centre stand is a little bent. Nothing that can't be straightenned.

I'm lucky the security guard at the office drives a bike too. He saw the woman hit it and went out to stop the woman from leaving.

Steve do you have mirrors suitable for a 74 GT? I noticed that you didn't have the chrome ones in stock just black. I'm looking for both brake and clutch since I want them to match.

I found a guy with the parts I need. I may go to the stock clip ons for the sport. My GT has the 38 mm Marzocchi's and has been partially converted to a cafe-racer.

The big question I have is do I really need to swap out the clutch, choke, throttle cables. Are the lengths that different? I can get new cables made up over the winter but any recommendation on new length would be handy.
