900 ss1980 need info please
My duke is engine number 88346 frame number 087972 registered in uk 1980. The bike is currently in MHR trim but i wonder if this is how it was originally ??? or can anyone shed some light on what it should be. Thanks in anticipation. Mick
Your bike seems to have an SS frame as according to my information the MHR frames started with numbers in the 900000 range. MHRs shared engine numbers with the SS models.
The main Bevelheaven website lists a register of Ducati frame and engine numbers - yours is very close to a listed SS shown as a 1978 model and just a bit ahead of mine which was built in November 1978.
