I took one of my headers into the local welding shop to fix a hairline crack on the lip. I needed to do this prior to sending them off to get them re chromed.
I just picked it up and here it is with the other one for comparison.

250 scrambler dipstick question.
It has what looks like an odd extension that the dipstick is mounted in.
Can someone please confirm that the dipstick arrangement on this 71 scrambler is correct? The dipstick itself is so short that it barely makes it into the sump.

Hi there,
Carl from Key West, Florida. On the Ducati front I have a 77 900ss and a 250 scrambler (a work in progress). The 900ss was a recent addition and I'm still feeling my way around it - I'm currently working my way through some carb issues. No doubt I'll be posting the odd question later ...
