Re: Clutch noise
Thanks for that information Steve. Hopefully it's something simple so will pull it apart then and see what I find.

Clutch noise
Hello all. I have a 750GT engine with clutch noise and hope someone can point me to a likely problem before I pull it apart. The clutch works perfectly but when I pull the lever in it's starting to make a bit of noise. My first thought was a thrust bearing or some such thing but on getting a manual ...

All aftermarket manuals I can dig up (Haynes, Cycleserv and other sources) state 0.10mm for inlet and 0.15mm ...

Plug gap with Dyna ignition - 750GT
Hello all. I have fitted my 74GT with a Dyna DS4-1 ignition and Dyna 5 Ohm coils. Before I fire it up I am fitting new NGK BP6HS plugs and was wondering if there is any experience out there with the best plug gap with this setup. Can anybody give me a good starting point please or any advice?

Newbie - Australia
Hello all in Ducati land. I had a 750GT in 74, before turning Japanese and have regretted that sale ever since. Now have another 74GT for a couple of years and thought I should finally sign up on this excellent site.

Is detergent an issue when changing to Castrol DD 50?
Hello. Without wishing to start off with any sort of major oil discussion here... I'm aware of the negative comments about using a detergent oil in a bevel engine. Or should I say in a dirty engine where it's been said it can loosen deposits with bad results. So, if I was using Shell HD50, which I ...
