Re: WTB: 860 GT Rear Frame Loop
Thanks man! This shot should show it clearly.

The rear frame loop was cut off my bike. The piece came with the bike in a box of parts. I won't sell it (in case the bike ever goes back to stock) but I'd try to give you measurements. Can you post a pic ...

Re: WTB: 860 GT Rear Frame Loop
Unfortunately I contacted him and his jig is for an SS which is different of course.
Still looking! Check your sheds!
Confusa,
If you don't have any luck locally, Damien Birch at Bevelrubber will make you one. He has fabricated a jig to do the correct bends.

Ahh, didn't know it made a difference. Mine are Aprilia.

Wanted: Front signal threaded hollow rods
I need a pair of the hollow threaded rods that the front signals mount on. The ones that would be used if you had the wire headlight mounts on a 750, 860, or 900. Basically open on both ends, threaded all the way. Have had no luck at hardware stores, etc. Anyone has a pair lying around let me know ...

860 clutch stiffness
The clutch on my 860 is so hard to pull it is silly. Would take a true strongman to pull the lever with ease. How can I make it easier to pull?

Re: Re-wiring the 860GT
I'll be extremely interested in your rewire effort. The previous owner of my bike really did some unknown mods on mine and I struggle to get it back to a known state. Would also be keen on seeing other relay options if you find them.

Re: 860 GT dash options
Nice work indeed. If you can get a dual gauge one with the holes in the middle for the indicator lights I would love to have one.

Talked to a friend at work with some CNC toys in his garage. I just need to draw a dual dash up and he'll cut it.

Re: 860 GT dash options
That is very nice indeed. A double one like that that would also accomodate the indicator lights would look super slick. You get up to fabbing somthing like that let me know as I like the clean look.

Rim options for 860GT - Borrani, ?
Looking to replace my stock Aimon Sports with something a little lighter. Looking at Borrani on eBay I see a lot of "WM x/x " , etc. What would I be looking for number wise for the numbers? I think 3/something? Also see 18/40 which I am assuming means 18" 40 spokes? And some other numbers which seem ...

WTB: 860 GT Rear Frame Loop
When my 860 GT was converted to a cafe, they cut the loop off the back. If anyone has a botched frame lying around and could cut the loop off and send it to me that would be great. Or, if you have some skill, craft me one?

Yeah, I have read a bit about them. Most of the concern and debate seems to be around starting power. In my case, and many other bevels of course, you don't have a starter so that isn't important. Haven't seen any discussion on using them on a vintage bike.

Lithium batteries anyone?
Thinking of swapping my huge, heavy, tired traditional battery for a new lithium style battery. I have an 860 GT, no electric start, etc, so it seems like it would be perfect for me. Anyone tried one? Potential issues?

WTB: 750 intake manifold
For the vertical cylinder. 750 sport, not GT which I think is different.
