Been completely through the carbs with a couple of extensive cleanings then all new bits on the inside new floats and needle and seats. Have increased idle jet to 62 as the 60's had mix screw out 3+ turns out now i am 1 1/2 . Have change out plugs a couple of times. Manual says ...

Just as i thought, the repair manual states it have some value to the timing advance and i could not see how ,,,thanks again. Am still at a loss at why the rotor has the two gouges at the "raised ridge" where the picks-ups create spark. It is on the inside of the rotor ; Was wondering ...

Ya i sent the whole side cover to road & Race and they repaired set / rewired replaced /pick-ups back in cover. After i installed the bike the only problem was to get the bike to run the best i had to have the idle screws out 3 turns or so to run with out to much back firing. Actually i drove ...

Hey Rick,
Yes all done at Road & Race. Worked for a while had just small issus with a little back firing under a load, like pulling down obout 3000 rpm's. Was working with the carbs to adjust out and problem just getting further away.Also can't seem to reach Road and Race Phone # not good no ...

Evening all,
I looked at what crash had to say and applied it to carbs and came up with a plan backed out idle speed screw alot to just get horizonal running . Ended up with the solution to it . Might sound wrong but idle screws are set at 5 turns out and the thing idled fine got the horizontal ...
