I don't Know much about 750 heads but on 860 's the spring seats are completely on the aluminium. The advantage of springs are more cam options. Were your heads orginally desmos?

So i had the idea to put a magnetic plug in the clutch housing in place of the 22mm x 1.5 plug. I found one at drainplugmagnets.com Good quality super strong magnet. fits perfect.If any one cares.

I have 3 conti muflers 2 left 1 right and 1 imitation. in rough shape. no rust,holes. and are not bent, but have dents.and scratches.If anyone wants them pm me for pictues.

My intention was not to get more or cooler oil to the crank (although that wouldnt be so bad) but to get oil to the crank faster on cold starts as this may be contributing to excessive big end rod wear and side clearance issues.
So, I guess my goal is to restrict oil where I can may be at the heads ...

I raced ducatis for 20 yrs. I dont run as hard as I once did at 62, I still get the bug once in a while and I need this crank to live A long fruitful life. Besides someone has to keep the jap. bikes in line.

I bought A NCR two into one from Gio.ca.moto 30yrs. ago. I have used it on and off. What I have found is its half the weight as the contis and has A better mid range. works best with 32or 36mm carbs.

I'm considering feeding the crankshaft with an external oil line from the top of oil filter housing to clutch cover and
blocking original passage. does anyone know what happens to the oil after it leaves the pump? Any thoughts on the subject would be helpful.
