working on it one day at a time.. few issues noted inside and still without a haynes or parts manual

only guess on the bevel tube is that the retainer is gone and that someone forgot to put it in.. however there was no piston in it when i took it apart and it amazed me and puzzled me as the thing ...

I can understand the lenght of the tank being an issue however I have been trying to find someone that makes a good tank.. i thought it flowed well on this bike however a slightly shorter one would be a better deal..
