well closed up the case of my darmah, started to assemble the clutch and then I decided to check if I can switch to neutral, well guess what. I cant
If I spin the inner basket of the clutch the sprocket shaft will spin as well, no matter how much I try to play with the gear shifter nothing ...

Re: valve seat seals
well I tried to do it with oil,
maybe my seals were too old, maybe I should use grease.
Id still like to hear if there is some tricky method to put them on.
PS. the lower rocker arm is still in its place, didn't remove it as I understand it is very problematic to put it back.

Re: spare part?
Dont think it is it. I didnt take the axle apart. I took the engine apart, the sprockets, the brakes and all the elkectrical parts.
So its either from there or its just a spacer that somehow found its way to the ducati boxes.
PS. It was found in the box that had all the clutch parts

So this is the sad situation, I guess this explains why each time I touched the kickstarter while riding the bike it made strange noises.

so the grove there supposed to be just like the one that holds the kick starter gear?
I can use a dremel tool to make ...

darmah kickstarter
Hi,
Fitted everything in place to close the crankcases, and ran into a little problem, I saw this diagram and it seems like I've misplaced the circlip holding the kick starter gear in place and the snap ring holding the spring(or maybe didn't have them in first place)

Re: parting darmah heads
thanks, already printed them ... very good articles.
managed to open the screw ... nothing an impact gun cant solve
they were just bolted really hard in.
going to grind the valves to fit them inside in a few days.
seems like the project is finally coming to an end

parting darmah heads
time is not on my side, have 1.5 months to finish the way too long overhaul.
got to the heads.
two questions:
1. when measuring the upper shim no pressure should be used right? (weired that both shims on the ex. were nearly 0 tolerance)
2. when measuring the lower shim, I can just measure the ...
