Oil Leaks

Took both heads off, so easy to do, replaced every gasket and seal there is, [ put oversize orings in the tubes ] , fixed the pin hole in the rear head. Fitted a new 2nd hand clutch of Ebay, sprayed the rear of the frame, fitted the the stupid seat base properly and she is a winner. Once last thing ...

It Goes

Well she is on the road. Runs well and so easy to ride. This week some tweaking, a new surflex clutch as the STD one slips and the heads are coming off as I have some oil leaks from both bevels, so any tips please tell.

Ok, the clutch is just rubbish. So im getting a surflex, that will fix it.

Then this week I will get both heads off and redo the bevels, that will fix that.

Great, lift the heads, that will fun, I dont think its tubes, but I could be wrong, I will give it a go.

Clutch, correct oil, correct adjustment. Fitted by an expert, so it still slips, this cant be happening, but it is.

Some Sport Troubles

Gday, I have just got my Sport 73 on the road after an engine rebuild. The clutch is slipping badly. I have adjusted correctly, any ideas ???

Also and the one that concerns me, I have oil leaks coming from the Bevels at the top, it looks like where the towers meet the upper housings, please tell me ...

Ok, quick run down, new engine and I start it up. Not quite right, the front cyl is not firing well and even worse at idle, I cant get it running under a few thousand RPM. Pull the plugs, front one wet, comp test perfect, and it has spark. Ok, ive put the carbs on back to front. My excuse is I didnt ...

Well I couldnt wait for the fuel taps, so I filled the carbs and kicked her over. Bang away she went, Tacho does not work, does anyone know the wiring schematics of it, because I dont and cant find them.

Tacho Help needed 73 Sport

I need to know how to wire up my 73 Ducati sport Tacho.

There are 4 wires in the loom, I have a spare white wire that goes nowhere. Rather than go like a bull at a gate, I thought I might ask.
