Hi Arthur,
The original frame number would be stamped on the steering head. Have you looked near the fairing bracket to see if there are any numbers that would be under it? The stampings would have covered more area than the bracket currently cover.

Dry ice is interesting, it was introduced about the time I was getting ut of aircraft restoration. An interesting aspect it the controllability of the media, it is sharp and since it is ground/ pulverized the mass is controlled for each job. On cast parts I like a mix between Soda or plastic media and Phosphoric acid wash for cleaning the surface. Each part will call for a bit different approach.

Another item to consider, the rear mount calipers have a single bleeder near the brakepipe and the Brembo script is rotated in the casting to remain level.
This does not mean you can not just remount the existing calipers buy there are specific ones for rear mounted apps.

I have the engine out of the frame at this time and the heads off to clean up the valve seats. Probably did not need to but started this years ago. So I would say the bike is not very photogenic right now.

Another big item I need to take care of is the original owner painted the bike silver with ...

Hi Guys N' Gals.

I own a 1974 750 Sport that I purchased back in 1980. I rode it a fair amount the first half dozen years but as life became complicated It and my other bikes went into storage. I have moved a few times over the years and I sold off a few bikes but have kept a few that were of real ...
