Re: new steering head ball bearings
After doing more research, it looks like they are #6, (3/16").

new steering head ball bearings
Are the steering bearings, (individual balls), a standard bearing size? Do they have a designation #, like #6, for example? I took my forks off in a non-cluttered workspace, with a sheet underneath the bike, so any of the balls wouldn't bounce, and get lost. This has always worked for me in the past...

Stamping new foil frame I.D. tags
I was wondering, when stamping a new foil frame I.D. tag, what do you use for a backing, or do you stamp it on a hard surface? I am going to purchase a new tag, (although the legible tattered original was in a box of parts I got with my 1966 250 Scrambler), also I see where these are glued on...any ...

250 SCRAMBLER FORK PLUGS, (CAPS)
Thank you Mr. Norton, for your reply. I will try Gas-plus... hopefully won't have to resort to a pipe wrench.

250 SCRAMBLER FORK PLUGS, (CAPS)
I WANT TO REMOVE THE FORKS ON MY 1966 250 SCRAMBLER, AND THE FORK PLUGS, (CAPS), ARE A LITTLE BUGGERED UP, BUT NOT REAL BAD. IT APPEARS, SOMEONE, AT SOMETIME HAD USED THE WRONG SIZE ALLEN WRENCH. WHAT SIZE IS IT ACTUALLY? ALSO APPEARS TO BE TAPERED, BEING SLIGHTLY SMALLER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HOLE. ...

About time to introduce myself
My name is Mark. I'm from the Midwest, USA. I own a 1966 Ducati Scrambler, that needs some work, mainly kick starter... need to find another kicker shaft and gears. Been a motorcycle fanatic since about the age of 7. LOVE MY BEVELHEAD!!!

160 Monza Jr. kickstart shaft and gears, fit 250 narrowcase?
Wondering if a 160 Monza Jr. kicker shaft and kicker gears will fit a 250 narrowcase scrambler 1964-1966? Don't know Monza Jr. year, or for that matter last year it was produced. Don't want to have to bump start every time. -ducscrambler-

Which Spark Plugs for Twin Plug 250 Head?
Thank you, Eldert. What would you suggest as far as a twin spark coil? I mentioned a Harley Davidson coil because it is the round canister type, would fit under the tank, and I can get one for about $20.00 U.S. Remember when you ride, keep the rubber side down! -Ducscrambler-

Part of what is confusing to me is that the two plugs, seemed to have two different heat ranges. I was wondering if that would attribute to a more efficient combustion burn. It seems finding a good comparison chart of different brands of plugs is kind of mind boggling. Thanks for your input from the...

Which Spark Plugs for Twin Plug 250 Head?
I have located a racing blueprint, courtesy of Motoscrubs, where they have listed two NGK plugs. The 14mm one being a B5H, and the 10mm one being a C10H. Since I don't plan on racing this bike in the near future,(was an old flat tracker way back in the day), I'm in the process of procuring a title, ...
