where can I get pads for my rebuilt caliper
the centerline distance for the cotter pins is 45 MM
does anyone know what type of pad will fit this dimention,
the ones I want to replase have had the holes elongated to line up with
the cotter pins.

I removed the gear selection housing, I had had it apart when I split the
engine case, springs are good and stiff and everything looked in order.

I AM HAVING TROUBLE FROM TIME TO TIME DOWN SHIFTING,
SAY IN THIRD OR FOURTH AND NOT BEING ABLE GET INTO FIRST
AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHT, HAVING TO START OFF IN SECOND AND THEN BEING SBLE TO GET BACK INTO FIRST ???

P V L Coils
I have mounted 12volt PVL coils on my GT and I am about to install
a new Dyna S ignition, I fried the leads on my old Dyna at the module
plate.
Any one had any kind of probs with this set up ??
the coils are oil filled and rated at 3.8 ohms primary and 5.5k secondary
resistance.

does anyone one know of a shop that will rechrome the "plastic" gas tank
badges from a 750 GT. The copper is showing through on one of mine Or anyone know where I can get a least one
new or a really good used one.

flywheel nut, clutch drum nut 36 ftlbs ??? does that sound right ??
altinator nut 86 ftlbs and its a lot smaler than the flywheel nut ???
chain sprocket at 57 ftlbs??

anybody familiar with a oil galley monification to supply more constant
oil delivery onto the gear stacks ???

I found the part I need in the gasket kit I received today.
I removed the threaded pin from the case bottom and fit the rubber
piece in place, the new sump screen threaded in and fit into the rubber
thing perfectly !!
Looking in through the r/h plug you can see how the screen and that rubber ...

welding duck cases
the rod I used was 4043. I had used this rod in years past to weld
up the intake ports on vw cyl heads, most castings have a higher
silicone content than sheet or extruded parts and this rod has been used on castings for some time. start to finish from heating to finish machine

filter plug thread repair
I split the cases,soaked em in carb cleaner then clean solvent and finaly
used aluma clean around the plug hole.
I pre heated the case and welded up the ID of the hole--4043 no prod !!
13/16 end mill and 22x1.5 tap on mill, done deal. Just got the new
sump screen from Steve and now I am looking for ...

the 22x1.50 mm threads where the sump screen fits into my case
are "GONE" previous owners epoxied the plug in place. I cannot get a Helicoil to repair the hole without spending about 6-800 bucks to get
Helicoil to make a miniumn of 100 pieces.
any body got a fix for this "nightmare"
