Does anyone out there have a good clear pic of a SSD fairing bracket they can post? I want to make one for my SD.

Steve, Craig
Thanks a lot for your information. That clarified thigs for me and was about what I figured. The guy I bought from did similar with the pistons one is 86.4 the other 86.6 and both look like new???
My engine # is 904492 so by Craigs info it should have 58mm inlet stud spacings. Problem ...

Thanks Desodero. The ad your talking about was what got me thinking, I already bought one new one at 58mm stud spacing that doesn't fit the rear head. The parts manual for the Darmah shows the samr part number for both front and rear manifolds but my rear is 53 mm stud spacing.

Cylinder head stud spacing

OK I have a couple of questions regarding my 1980 900 SD Darmah.
When I bought the bike it was fitted with 36mm Mikuni carbs and what looks like home made inlet manifolds both with different stud spacings. When I reinstalled the stock 32mm Dellortos and inlet manifolds I got with the bike I ...

SD900 Flywheel gear removal

OK I give up. Can someone tell me in detail (I'm a bit slow :cry: ) how to remove the flywheel gear on my SD900 without buying the expensive 88713.0133 puller?
I tried modifying my 3 leg puller as someone suggested in this forum but as you all probably know there is not much room behind the gear. I ...

Thanks for your comments Steve. Painting is a ways off yet, you never know I might keep the colour (it is the original paint job) but the bike will need painting as the tank is crazy cracked and two small dents. The previuos owner also touched up the side panels and didn't match the colour. He also ...

Hi All;

Just a note to say hi to everyone. I am an expat Canadian living in New Zealand (bikers paradise).
I have just purchased my 2nd Ducati a few weeks ago to compliment my 04 800S. It is a 1980 900SD Darmah frame # 904482 that came over here from Aus in 1989 (I am the 3rd owner). I got cheap ...
