I have a 1970 GT 250 5 speed and the shifter and cover I replaced with one form another bike... is there a four speed version and a 5 speed version of these?.. I mean I know they house the shifter stuff in that little housing in side the cover and does in matter if it's from a 4 or 5 speed? the part ...

I want to put a bigger carb on my 250 singel and I'm looking at the one that come off the 750 GT (delorto) I was wondering of any of you might have a good starting point for the jets for one of these carbs in this situation.. 250gt no head work pretty stock.. over size piston and compression.
