just a note about the advise given to gregh. I work with aluminium and the 6061 grade he was advised is a grade used for "wrought" products. i.e. extrusions or forgings. Casting grades normally have silicon added to lower the viscosity of the alloy when molten which allows them to flow into a mould ...

By the way, I expect yuo know about www.poly26.com for F1 seats - they are in France and offer a really nice looking endurance seat unit..... I know you had said you wanted to avoid painting, etc....

I put in the first bid as the heads looked as they were the big valve versions, but later communications with the vendor confirmed they were actually 1985 build. He had them advertised as 1986, but this was year of registration meaning they were identical to the Alazzurra heads I already have ...

I am building a TT1 motor and intend to copy the Marco Luccinelli TT1 motor of 1987 by using a modified 851 crank within late model 750SS crankcases combined with the 900SS bore of 92mm.
