Legible 860 GT Wiring Diagram?

Does anyone have a readable wiring diagram for an 860 GT/USA manufactured after may '75? You can't read the wire color codes or most of the numbers on the one in the workshop manual.

Thanks,

Mike

'75 860 GT Starter Permanent Removal

Does anyone know if there is a "how to" for this particular starter removal, i.e. what needs to come off and what can be left on, etc.? As soon as I find a left side cover that ugly thing's coming off.

Any advice from anyone who's done it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Wanted: Stock 750GT/860GT Front Foot Pegs/Brackets

Anyone have any or know where they can be found? All I can find are rearsets.

Thanks

My new 75 860 GT Project

Got it last week. Plans are to continue its transformation into an 860 Sport by adding a new tank, etc..

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Here a couple pics. Seems like the previous owner was on a mission to make an 860 Sport.

I'll take some pics tonight. As far as the pain, I'm not sure if it's original, but it's red.

Thanks,

I did see the right side shift squarecase forum but thought it was only for 900ss. Also looked at the manuals for the 750/900 and saw the right side shift, so I'm closer to answer.

Thanks,

Will the same tank fit a '75 860 GT? The frames look very similar.

Just got a '75 860 GT and have a "newbie" question

Hi, I picked up the bike last night and am pretty excited to start a new project. I've already gone through all the related manuals on the site and couldn't find the answer to my dilemma. Basically, I'm curious which model I have. My shift lever is on the right hand side and rear brake pedal is on ...
