Re: Hello Everybody out there
I may remember Pablo, the blond haired guy, 5’ 10”ish, stocky build? Did he ride a blue/silver SS? If it’s the guy I’m thinking of he was very ingenious in his thinking, plenty of good ideas that, I think, his father would help turn in to reality. One of his fixes that I know a few people used was ...

Re: Hello Everybody out there
A friend spotted this thread recently and suggested that I read through knowing that I bought my 900ss from Oxford Motorcycle Engineers in late 1980. Brought back loads of memories, not sure how accurate they are.

The pool of oil forms on the crankcase next to the bolt at the rear of the back cylinder. No evidence of the oil being blown around, it should be all over the rear carb area, it just sits ...

1981 900ss oil leak
The bike, a 1981 900ss has an oil leak, oil collects on top of the left hand crankcase by the rear cylinder. It was first noticed on a rebuilt engine after about 20 miles. Initially we thought that it was a split cylinder base gasket, lifted the cylinder, the gasket looked OK. We reassembled the ...

Good morning from the UK
Hi everyone from sunny Wiltshire in the UK , just joined the forum, been looking at it for some while. Thought it about time I registered. Been a bevel twin owner since 1977, a 750GT then a new 900SS in 1980. The first couple of years ownership of the 900 was my daily driver and reliable it was too ...
