Steve is right on! Carb rebuild and new insulators sorted my bike--had the same problem as yours.

Another headlight question................what size on a 1980 900ss?

I have a right side Brembo caliper as used for replacement on Darmahs (forward mount). It has the central bleed screw as opposed to the 2 bleeders. It is NOS-never used. Would like to swap it for a left side caliper same condition. PM or email at sberry@mchealthystart.org Thanks! Scott

On a 78 SD Darmah, what is the torque setting for the front wheel spindle nut? How about the clamp bolts?

By that measure, they're ceriani. Any ideas where I cen get the nylon ring?

Anyone know a source for those nylon rings that go on the damper piston? I'm running a 78 Darmah. Marzocchi forks (says the dust cover).

OK, I know this is weird, but here goes...........When I'm coming to a stop on my 78 Darmah, I hear this sound that sounds like a chicken quietly clucking. No joke, and no, I'm not driving by a chicken farm! I honestly can't tell if its coming from the front, middle, or back. Any ideas?
